“Early Autumn Jazz” is a free big‑band concert by the Mile High Jazz Band featuring resident vocalist Jakki Ford and guest vocalist Rick Esterling. Gina’s Good Life Music & Lounge inside the Carson Nugget is a smoke‑free, climate‑controlled venue with a well‑stocked bar and specialty cocktails; the 17‑member band will perform classics and fresh big‑band selections such as “Moten Swing,” “Moonlight in Vermont,” and “Dizzyland,” with Esterling singing “L‑O‑V‑E” and “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head,” and Ford offering “Somebody Loves Me,” “Massachusetts,” and other favorites, with a suggested donation of $10.
