Sapphire Jazz Ensemble

The Sapphire Jazz Ensemble is a Reno‑based, all‑women jazz collective dedicated to empowering women in music through performance, education, and mentorship, creating a supportive space where musicians can grow, collaborate, and take the stage with confidence. In 2026, the ensemble marked a milestone year with standout projects including a powerful artistic collaboration with poet Monae’s Muse, the inaugural Reno Jazz Festival Jam for Girls, and a featured appearance at Jazz in the Schools alongside acclaimed jazz violinist Sara Caswell.
